Auckland swimmer Michael Jack has broken another New Zealand record at a World Cup meet in Singapore.
He finished outside the medals but his time of 1m 43.77s in the 200m freestyle final sliced almost 1s off the national mark held by teammate Andrew McMillan.
Jack finished in fourth place, the same as he managed in the 100m on Saturday when he posted a time of 47.77sec, nearly 2/10ths of a second better than the previous national record held by Beijing Olympian Cameron Gibson.
