US-based New Zealand swimmer Nick Ferrif has grabbed gold on the second day of pool competition at the Oceania Championships in Samoa.
Ferrif, based at Lafayette in Northern California, led the New Zealand contingent to a further nine medals at the Tuanaimato Aquatic Centre in Apia.
The 21-year-old dominated the 100m breaststroke as the top qualifier and claimed the final convincingly in one minute 02.79 seconds.
New Zealand swimmers also scored a further six silver medals and two bronze on the second day.
