Two-time Olympian Cameron Gibson, a New Zealand swimming representative for a decade, has announced his retirement. Gibson made the decision after considering a further campaign through to the Commonwealth Games this year. Gibson, 27, was a medallist at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games in the 200m backstroke and in the medley relay at the world short course championships in 2008.
