Sheila Galloway has been appointed national coaching development manager.
Galloway has taken up the Swimming New Zealand role after working as head junior coach for North Shore Swimming Club for the past year. Originally from Vancouver, Galloway's role is to help establish systems to develop swim coaches from grass roots up.
"Sheila brings experience in coaching and in developing other coaches to the role and I am excited that she will help develop our coaches from grass-roots level right through," said Jan Cameron, SNZ general manager, performance and pathways.
