Lauren Boyle's outstanding World Cup campaign ended with a silver medal in her final event, the 400m freestyle in Beijing.
Chinese swimmer Yiwen Shao won the race in 3min 58.92s, with Aucklander Boyle a mere 0.3s back and Spain's Mireia Belmonte third a further 0.2s back.
Boyle finished the three-leg Asian series with four wins, theree other podium finishes to go with two wins and two seconds earlier in the series in Europe.
