New Zealand's Daniel Bell has been voted the male swimmer of the meet at the junior world swimming championships in Mexico. Bell finished the meet at Monterray with three gold medals.
The highlight of yesterday's final session was a gold medal to Aucklander Kurt Bassett, who set a New Zealand open record in winning the 200m backstroke.
New Zealand finished with five gold medals at the championships, receiving a team award for their performances.
