Surfing: Triple Crown to Parkinson

Australia's Joel Parkinson has won the Triple Crown of Surfing in Hawaii.

The world tour runner-up receives a consolation prize of US$50,000 ($69,750) for his performance over the three Hawaiian events.

The 28-year-old took a commanding lead into the season-ending Billabong Pipe Masters.
