Australian former world surfing champion Chelsea Hedges has lost to Hawaiian rookie Coco Ho at the final of the tour round in Peniche, Portugal. The 18-year-old dominated the final of the Rip Curl Pro Search, winning by 15.83 points to 9.37. New Zealander Paige Hareb finished ninth.
