New Zealand surfer Maz Quinn has beaten Aussie World number four Trent Munro to reach the third round of the Quicksilver Pro world championship in France.
Quinn, a former WCT competitor, was a wildcard entry to the Quicksilver event.
He will take on American superstar Andy Irons for a place in the last sixteen.
