Surfing: Pipe dreams are made of this

Spectators watch a surfer ride a massive wave during a warm-up session for the Rip Curl Pro Pipeline Masters at the Banzai pipeline on the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii, yesterday.

The contest was placed on hold because of stormy surf conditions. The Pipeline Masters is the final event on the Foster's ASP World Championship Tour and features the world's top 45 surfers and three wildcard entrants.
