Surfing: Oz surfers head here

A 19-strong Australian development squad will compete at surf lifesaving's national pool championships in Wellington this weekend.

With the full New Zealand team heading away for next week's world championships in Egypt, the under-20 Australian contingent will go some way to filling that void, competing against 420 top club athletes from around New Zealand.
