Surfing: Mason wins junior title

Gold Coast-based New Zealand surfer Airini Mason has won the Association of Surfing Professionals Australasian junior series after a second place finish at the pro-teen series event on the Sunshine Coast.

Mason, 16, took out the series after victory in two junior events in Victoria, before securing her third win on the Gold Coast in February.
