Brad Thorn's Queensland Reds are the latest team linked to Waratahs and Wallabies fullback Israel Folau.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Folau could be making the move north if he re-signs with the Rugby Australia. Folau earns around $1.1 million a year in Australia.
Folau's current contract comes to and end this year with previous reports linking the 29-year-old to the NRL and English rugby.
The Sydney newspaper reports that talks between Folau and the Reds are at the preliminary stage. Folau previously played for the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL as well as the Queensland State of Origin side.
Folau returned to action last Saturday in the Waratahs' defeat to the Blues. It was the first time he featured for the New South Wales side since causing an uproar over his controversial comments about homosexuality.
