Paige Hareb, New Zealand's top woman pro-surfer has joined forces with Subaru of New Zealand in a car deal.
Ranked ninth in the world, Hareb is one of 17 surfers selected to compete in the ASP Women's World Tour also known as the Dream Tour.
The first woman in New Zealand to join the Dream Tour, 2011 is her third year competing on it.
Subaru of New Zealand has recognised the 20-year-old's talent and has stepped in as a supporter.
"Paige's many successes and her competitive drive fits in well with the Subaru brand essence of 'Confidence in Motion'," says Wallis Dumper, managing director Subaru of New Zealand.
Hareb now drives an All Wheel Drive Subaru Impreza XV, a crossover vehicle that combines the capabilities of an SUV with the feel and handling of a sports hatch, providing higher ground clearance, enhanced suspension and the unique low-centre-of-gravity Boxer engine.
Hareb will be an ambassador for all Impreza models as time moves on and she discovers the invisible advantages of All Wheel Drive while challenging the forces of nature in her sport.

The event is set to be held in Hareb's hometown of New Plymouth from April 26-May 1.
