New Zealand's solid run of form has ended in the quarter-finals of the world men's junior squash championships in Ecuador.
The 11-seeded New Zealand team were beaten 3-0 by third seeds England yesterday.
Paul Coll lost in straight games to Charles Sharpes, Lance Beddoes lost in five games to Nathan Luke, despite holding a 2-0 advantage, and Bryce Redman lost the dead rubber in straight games to James Earles.
New Zealand now play Germany in the playoffs for fifth to eighth places.
