New Zealand's Carol Owens and Malaysian Ong Beng Hee won the titles at the first joint men's and women's Macau Open squash tournament.
Second seed Owens, the favourite after the withdrawal of top-seeded compatriot Leilani Joyce, was too strong for England's Stephanie Brind, who had jumped six places to a career-high world No 4.
World No 3 Owens, formerly from Melbourne and now based in Auckland, swept to a 9-5, 9-5, 9-0 win to claim her first WISPA World Tour title since winning the World Open in Scotland a year ago.
Beng Hee, the 21-year-old world No 9, defeated sixth seed Stefan Casteleyn from Belgium 15-10, 15-11, 15-4 to win his first PSA Tour title since December when he became the first home player to secure the Malaysian Open trophy.
