New Zealanders Kashif Shuja and Campbell Grayson have battled their way into the main draw of the Australian squash open at Canberra.
Shuja downed Italian Amr Swelim 2-11, 11-8, 11-7, 8-11, 11-9 and Grayson beat Scotsman Alan Clyne 14-12 8-11 16-14 9-11 11-5 in the second and final round of qualifying last night.
Fellow Kiwi Martin Knight failed to make the tournament proper, beaten by Malaysia's Asyraf Azan 17-15 12-10 7-11 7-11 11-8.
