New Zealand, 11th seeds, won 2-1 in Pakistan after they lost their first match with Callum O'Brien losing 4-9, 8-10, 0-9 to the Kuwaiti No 1.
Top seeds England were crowned world champions after beating second seeds Egypt 2-0 in the final.
