Kiwis Joelle King and Jaclyn Hawkes have both been knocked out of the US$77,000 Hong Kong squash open after being beaten in the second round in tough encounters with fellow seeded players.
King lost to local favourite and tournament eighth seed Annie Au 12-10 2-11 11-9 11-6 in a physical match.
Hawkes, meanwhile, was defeated by third seeded Australian Rachael Grinham 11-5 4-11 8-11 11-2 11-8.
