Shelley Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey have bowed out in the first round of the World Open Squash Championships in Hong Kong.
Kitchen, seeded 11th, was upset in straight games by Tegwen Malik from Wales, 9-7, 9-6, 9-7 in 42 minutes. Leevey lost 5-9, 9-5, 9-3, 9-3 to English 16th seed Alison Waters.
Kitchen also had some disappointing news off court, slipping one place to No 13 in world rankings. Leevey improved two places to No 24.
