New Zealand pair Shelley Kitchen and Glen Wilson stormed into the semifinals with a straight games victory at the world doubles squash championships in Chennai, India, yesterday.
The second seeds continued their bid for the mixed doubles title with a 9-3 9-2 9-6 win over Malaysia's Tricia Chuah and Mohammad Azlan Iskander in just 16 minutes.
But compatriots Lara Petera and Callum O'Brien couldn't follow them into the final four.
The pair recovered from two games down to push Australia's Natalie Grinham and Dan Jenson to five games, before losing 9-6 11-9 6-9 7-9 9-4 in a 69-minute marathon.
Kitchen and Wilson will meet Grinham and Jenson on Saturday morning (NZT).
Before then, Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey will take on Petera and Louise Crome in the women's semifinals.
