New Zealand's Shelley Kitchen has held steady in the latest world squash rankings.
Kitchen will start 2007 at No 14, up two places from this time last year. The New Zealand No 1 has been as high as 12 this year, having picked up two titles on the main WISPA (international) Tour.
Two other New Zealand players will also start the year in the top 50. Jaclyn Hawkes is up four places to a career-high 24 while Louise Crome remains at No 34.
Meanwhile, New Zealand men's No 1 Kashif Shuja remains just outside the top 50 in the men's list, holding on at No 55 on the.
He's the only New Zealander in the top 100, although Martin Knight is not far off at 105.
