KEY POINTS:
NEW YORK - New Zealand squash player Shelley Kitchen has bowed out in the quarterfinals of the Apawamis Open squash today, losing 2-9 9-6 9-6 10-8 to England's Laura-Jane Lengthorn .
Australian sisters Rachael and Natalie Grinham will meet in the semifinals of the tournament, after both easily won their quarter-finals today.
Older sister and top seed Rachael beat former world No 1 Natalie Grainger of the US 9-1 9-3 9-2 while Natalie, the third seed, was too good for England's Jenny Duncalf, winning 9-1 9-5 9-4.
It will be only the siblings' second meeting since Natalie upset Rachael in Melbourne last March en-route to winning the first of a record three Commonwealth Games gold medals.
The winner of the Grinhams' semifinal is favourite to win the year's first WISPA tour title, as the second semi features English sixth seed Vicki Botwright and the unseeded Lengthorn.
