KEY POINTS:
Top New Zealand woman squash player Shelley Kitchen has moved into the top 10 in the world rankings.
In the new rankings for this month, Kitchen is up three places to number 10 on the Wispa (Women's International Squash Players' Association) list, eclipsing her previous best ranking of 11.
The climb comes on the back of Kitchen's Australian Open title in South Australia last month and means she is guaranteed entry into the main draws of all Wispa events as one of the top 12.
Jaclyn Hawkes is at a career-best of 19, while Louise Crome has reached a new high of 29.
Among the men, Kashif Shuja has also reached a personal high of 44 on the August list.
Campbell Grayson, Josh Greenfield and Sam Atkins are also at personal best rankings of 110, 119 and 150 respectively.
