New Zealand squash No 1 Shelley Kitchen is on a roll.
She stormed through the opening round of the Kuala Lumpur Open in Malaysia yesterday, barely one day after winning a tournament in Hong Kong.
Kitchen, the world No 16, hit the ground running in Kuala Lumpur, eliminating Malaysian Sally Looi 9-0 9-0 9-0 in the opening round. She was on court for just 14 minutes.
Kitchen next meets Australian Kasey Brown.
A day earlier, Kitchen won the Buler Challenge Cup women's tournament in Hong Kong.
The world No 16 beat local favourite and second seed Rebecca Chiu 8-10, 9-5, 9-2, 7-9, 9-6 in a marathon 75-minute final.
These results are underlining Kitchen's top form ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
