Squash: King wins Texas Open

New Zealander Joelle King pulled off the biggest win of her squash career by winning the Texas Open in the United States yesterday.

The unseeded world No 23 beat Australian top seed and former world No 1 Rachael Grinham 11-8, 6-11, 11-8, 11-9 in the final at Houston.

King, 21, of Cambridge, had eliminated England's Dominique Lloyd-Walter in the semifinals.
