New Zealand is safely through to the quarterfinals at the Junior Women's World Squash Championships in Belgium.
The eighth seeded kiwi team beat Wales 2-1 in the first round of the top 12 playoffs.
Joelle King led the charge, with a crushing 9-6 9-0 9-5 victory over Welsh number one Jessica Bevan.
Jackie Laurenson was beaten 3-0 in the battle of the number threes, leaving New Zealand number 2 Kerry Wickett to seal victory. The Auckland teenager duly delivered with a 3-0 win over Gemma Davies.
New Zealand will meet second seeded Hong Kong in the last eight.
