Kiwi squash No 2 Jaclyn Hawkes had her run at the US$27,000 Tournament of Champions in Grand Central Terminus, New York, ended last night (NZT) when she was beaten by seventh-seeded Indian Dipika Pallikal in the semifinals.
Hawkes had defeated top-seeded and world No 5 Rachael Grinham of Australia 11-3 11-8 11-5 in the quarter-finals but was beaten by Pallikal 11-5 14-12 11-9.
