North Shore's Mike Corren has continued his recent run of good form, with victory in the South Island squash championships in Dunedin. The top seed beat Wellington's Martin Knight in straight games, edging home 11-10, 11-8, 11-6 in the final.
It's Corren's third title in the space of a month, after also winning the Remuera and Titirangi opens in April. He's also snared more valuable world ranking points, with the South Island champs registered as a PSA closed-circuit event.
Otago's Alana Sincock won the women's title, after upsetting top seed Tracey Flux 4-9 9-1 9-5 9-1 in the final.
