New Zealand's Lance Beddoes is through to the third round of the world junior men's squash championships in Ecuador.
Beddoes, ranked in the 17-32 seed bracket, beat Kuwait's Yousef Saleh 11-6, 13-11, 11-6 and faces sixth-seeded Indian Aditya Jagtap for a place in the last 16.
However fellow New Zealanders Paul Coll and Michael Sunderland both lost in straight sets.
Coll went down to French third seed Lucas Serme, while Sunderland lost to Pakistan's Farhan Zaman.
