New Zealand are guaranteed at least a silver medal in the women's section of the world doubles squash championships in Chennai, India.
One semifinal was set to be an all-New Zealand affair with Shelley Kitchen and Tamsyn Leevey meeting Lara Petera and Louise Crome.
Petera and Crome won through to the semifinals by upsetting second seeds Nicol David and Tricia Chuah of Malaysia on Monday.
All four New Zealand combinations successfully negotiated the qualifying rounds to make the knockout stages.
Kitchen also made the quarterfinals of the mixed event with Glen Wilson, along with Petera and Callum O'Brien.
