The NZ Academy of Sport North Island has opened a new multi-purpose base in the Waikato.
It has enhanced its Hamilton facilities at Wintec's Avalon campus, adding to those at the Sport and Exercise Science Centre.
The academy will continue to provide support services on-site for Rowing NZ's high performance programme at Lake Karapiro.
