Softball: Venezuela softball host

Venezuela will host next year's world softball championships, which had initially been listed for Oklahoma City.

The event had to be rescheduled because a conflict with the Central American and Caribbean Games would have prevented three teams from competing.

The world championships will be held June 23-July 2.
