The New Zealand men's softball team have resurrected a world championship-winning combination with the return of Chubb Tangaroa to the role of pitching coach.
Tangaroa was in that role when the team successfully defended their world championship crown in Christchurch in 2004.
He was also on the pitching staff of the 1996 winning Black Sox team.
Former international Dave Workman has been retained as assistant coach under Eddie Kohlhase, who was retained as head coach last year.
