Softball: Son joins dad

North Harbour teenager Pita Rona has joined his father in the New Zealand men's softball training squad.

The 16-year-old utility player has been called into the squad as a replacement for former Black Sox captain Jarrad Martin, who is unavailable for the team's tour to Australia in December.
