12.30pm
Light rain this morning delayed the start of one of the two scheduled fixtures at the men's softball world series in Christchurch.
The match between the United States and Hong Kong, scheduled for 10.30am on the number two diamond, was put back to 4.30pm, a tournament spokeswoman said in a statement.
However, the main diamond was under covers and held up well, allowing the Netherlands/South Africa game to get underway on schedule.
