Softball: Hitters in top form

The New Zealand women's softball team secured two wins over male opposition in Indonesia yesterday.

The White Sox beat Georgeous 8-5 and DKI Jakarta 4-3 in Jakarta as they prepare for the world championship starting in China on August 27.

Both games were played in trying conditions with scorching temperatures leaving some players feeling ill.

The White Sox rounded out their weekend of doubleheader games with three wins and one loss.
