Softball: Black Sox off to winning start in New York

The Black Sox opened their Peligro Cup softball tournament campaign in New York with a 3-0 win over California A today.

Standout performer for the side was left-handed pitcher Karl Gollan who gave up just four hits and took 11 strikeouts.

The Black Sox will play Industriales, the New York Sports Bar and Dominicana tomorrow ahead of the tournament play-off on Monday.
