KEY POINTS:
The New Zealand men's softball team maintained their perfect record at the Parana International tournament in Parana City, Argentina, with two more wins.
On Thursday, the Black Sox beat the All Stars Buenos Aires team 18-0 in five innings and then backed up that performance with a hard-earned win over the local side 5-4.
In that game, and to the delight of the home crowd, Black Sox pitcher Jeremy Manley gave up a home run with loaded bases to level the game 4-4 in the third inning. The deciding run for the Black Sox was scored by its captain Jarrad Martin in the fifth inning.
The tournament, which concludes at the weekend, includes the Argentina and Venezuela national teams as well as a number of top club sides from the area.
