Softball: Big task ahead for White Sox 

The New Zealand women's softball team will face stiff opposition in Australia during their one-week tour starting on Friday.

The tour opens with the Grand Prix series in which the White Sox play Australia's top five state sides and Japan in a round-robin series and finals playoffs over four days.

Then New Zealand face Australia, Japan and the Australian Institute of Sport team over two days in round-robin play before a final.
