The Junior White Sox beat Surrey Storm 7-5 at the Canada Cup Futures women's softball tournament in Vancouver today.
The highlight of the match came in the seventh inning when Hutt Valley's Lara Andrews hit a home run over the left field fence with one runner on base to secure victory.
The New Zealanders have a doubleheader tomorrow against O'Kanagan Wildfire and White Rock Renegades.
