Rangers won their 50th Scottish title on goal difference yesterday when they beat Dunfermline 6-1 to pip Glasgow rivals Celtic by one goal.
Defending champions Celtic, who won 4-0 at Kilmarnock, suffered their second major disappointment in five days after losing to Porto in the Uefa Cup final.
Rangers' goal difference was plus 73 to Celtic's 72. It is the first time since 1986 that the title has been decided this way.
Rangers, coached by Alex McLeish, have already won the League Cup, beating Celtic in the final, and play Dundee in the Scottish Cup final this weekend.
