A Swiss goalkeeper has died after suffering a brain haemorrhage following a collision with another player during a Swiss second division game between his team, FC Greifensee, and Wiedikon.
Reto Gafner, 32, was struck in the head by a player's knee as he dived to block a ball from entering his goal.
He died two days after falling into a coma.
