More than 30 Sky TV channels have been restored five hours after they went off air this morning.
The pay-television operator issued a statement this morning after 33 channels, including Sky Sports 3 and 4, EPSN, CI, BBC Knowledge, Prime, MTV and Comedy Central, went off air.
"At 9.55am this morning numerous Sky channels went off air and displayed the 'Atmospheric Conditions' message," the statement read.
Sky said the interruption was caused by damage to the Chorus fibre in Puhoi, where a digger broke Sky's fibre link - used to feed content from Albany to Warkworth.
However, Sky TV managed to resolve the issue, returning normal viewing at 2.55pm.
