New Zealand skiers Mark Bridgwater and Erika McLeod have tasted success on US snow, winning prestigious international races in recent days.
Bridgwater, of Christchurch, and McLeod, of Auckland, both won Super G races in the FIS series at Winter Park, Colorado, while Dunedin's Nicola Campbell had two second placings.
In a tight finish in the men's Super G, Bridgwater held off a challenge from Americans Jakob Fiala and Ben Babbitt.
Fiala won the second race which Bridgwater failed to finish.
In the women's first race McLeod headed off teammate Campbell by 0.1sec.
Both lowered their Super-G points giving them a good result in their Olympics buildup.
In the second race McLeod failed to finish the run while Campbell continued her podium streak to finish a close second to American Lyndee Janowiack.
Queenstown's Michelle Greig, another national squad member, had creditable fourth and fifth placings in the two women's races.
