KEY POINTS:
Two New Zealanders have been selected for the winter cross country skiing world championships in Japan later this month.
Christchurch doctor Nat Anglem and North Otago's Samantha Bondarenko will compete in Sapporo, Japan.
Bondarenko has qualified in sprint (classic), 10km freestyle, 15km pursuit and the 30km classic but may drop one event in Japan.
Coach Alastair Smaill said the world championships were run under the same format as for the 2010 Winter Olympics, so would be a good dress rehearsal for the New Zealanders.
