New Zealand Paralympian Corey Peters has bagged a silver medal in the giant slalom at the World Cup finals in St Moritz, Switzerland.
Peters, of New Plymouth, was third after his first run, 0.44s behind the leader, but produced a smart run to finish second ahead of the Sochi Winter Games gold medallist Christoph Kunz of Switzerland.
German Georg Kreiter won with a combined time of 1min 52.06s; Peters clocked 1:52.64 with Kunz third, .07s back.
There is another giant slalom race tomorrow, followed by two slalom events.
