An American skier says he has beaten New Zealander Paul Ahern's world record 68.58m ski jump, set in 1995, with a 74.68m cliff jump at the Grand Targhee Resort in Wyoming.
Jamie Pierre, 32, of Salt Lake City, said he made his record-breaking jump last week "to prove his religious faith", the Jackson Hole News reported.
