Otago disabled ski racer Adam Hall secured a career-best silver medal in the slalom at the World Cup finals at Whistler, British Columbia, yesterday.
The podium finish also pushed Hall into the world No 2 ranking in the discipline.
Hall led the field after the first run, but Germany's Gerd Schoenfelder posted a blistering second run to narrowly edge Hall at the finish.
In addition to his silver medal in the Slalom, Hall also reached the podium in super-combined bringing home a bronze medal, and topped off his dominating performance with a personal best placing of sixth in Super G.
