Ski Racing New Zealand has appointed Canadian Jim Davis as its alpine director.
Along with the national men's and women's coaches, Davis will be responsible for leading New Zealand teams in their preparation for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Italy.
He has been based in Canada for the past five years as programme director for the Alberta Alpine Ski Association.
